The Baseball in Schools Programme is available for schools who want to introduce baseball to their students. This 4-week programme is run in conjunction with Sport Northland.
Northland Baseball visits each school in the programme every week for 4 weeks. Students will learn basic batting, catching and pitching skills. They will also learn about baseball positions. Younger students play T-ball, and older students will have a coach pitching to them.
At the end of the 4 weeks, all schools involved get together to play a round-robin tournament. This gives the students a chance to put their skills into action!
